How we handle a photo case

    Share the link you have found. If you think there are more copies, tell us — discovery is part of the Complete and Protect packages.

    We trace the copies

    Resized, cropped and re-compressed versions are grouped into the same case, so they are handled together.

    Each source gets the right request

    Platform reporting, host notices, privacy or copyright requests — the route depends on where the photo is and what rights apply.

    Search results follow

    Once a source is removed, or where the result itself qualifies, we request removal from image search.

Often, yes. If you took the photo yourself, copyright can give an additional removal route alongside privacy rules.

Someone else took the photo. Can it still be removed?

In many cases. Privacy and data-protection rules can apply to photos of you regardless of who took them. We will tell you which routes are realistic.

Will the photo disappear from Google too?

Search results usually update after the source is removed. Where they do not, or where the source stays online, we can request removal of eligible results.

Removal cannot be guaranteed. Final decisions may depend on third-party platforms, websites, search engines and applicable rights.
